Delete Your Account

What happens when you request deletion:

• Your account and all associated content will be deleted from the front-end facing UI of mirage.talk, including the mobile app.
• A deletion message will be broadcast to the network on your behalf.
• Nodes that honor deletion messages will stop displaying your content.

Because Mirage is a decentralized protocol, The Mirage Foundation does not control every node on the network. Content that was confirmed on-chain may still be visible on independently operated nodes. This is a property of the protocol, not a policy decision.

Your cryptographic key pair is generated and stored locally on your device. We never have access to it. To fully abandon your identity, discard your seed phrase after deletion.
